An integral part of Napa Valley history since 1881, Oakville Grocery remains a gathering place for friends to share the best in handcrafted, locally sourced food and wine and to experience what makes Napa and Sonoma Counties so special. As the longest continually operating grocery store in California, it was the general store that served the visionary pioneers who first planted grapes in the valley. We want to honor that rich past while looking forward to present the very best in casual handcrafted food - food that is representative of today’s thriving Napa and Sonoma County’s gourmet artisan food community.
Bring the family and join Oakville Grocery at our Napa Valley store for our annual Easter EGGstravaganza on Sunday, April 1st at 11 am! The Easter Egg Hunt will commence at 11 am — bring your own basket and search for the Golden Egg to win a special prize. Oakville’s favorite bunny will make an appearance, so be sure to come camera ready and stay for snacks, egg races, craft time and other Easter games!
Please sign-up at the register in-store or email us.
Join Amanda McCrossin, the SommVivant, at our very own Rudd Farms on Mt. Veeder. Rudd Farms is high up on Mt. Veeder and is a fully functioning farm complete with produce and livestock which supplies PRESS Restaurant and Oakville Grocery with seasonal goods. Goats, chickens, and Bertha the Pig keep us plenty entertained as we walk the grounds, hoping to catch a glimpse of the eclipse. A thick fog blankets Napa Valley on its first day of Harvest, but it doesn't stop us from flying the drone around a bit.
